Tom is available for keynote presentations, conference breakouts, workshops, teacher in-services, peer helper trainings, youth leadership programs and community or parenting conferences. His work can be adapted to fit various schedules, settings, group sizes and audiences to best achieve your goals. His fee is $950 per day plus travel expenses. Funding sources that have been used successfully by other organizations are staff development, Safe and Drug Free Schools, Title I, At-Risk and High Risk, as well as special grants and community resources. Join up with a neighboring school, school district or organization and save money by sharing travel costs when Tom stays more than one day in your part of the country. We will try to book another workshop in your area to help you save money on travel if you will give us other interested people to contact.

How about combining a daytime activities workshop with a nighttime presentation to parents? Many communities have found that Tom can present his activities workshop to teachers and other professionals during the day and then have him help parents help their children succeed in today’s tough society by presenting activities from his family values book during the evening. Tom’s fun activities really do help parents move from "lecturing to sharing". By calling on the PTA or other community parent support organizations to provide the forum for Tom’s workshop, you can broaden the impact of Tom’s visit by reaching into the community. Parent and community organizations of all types have enjoyed the family-based presentations. Or host an evening workshop for professionals that work with parents. This would be a "training of trainers" format where professionals can experience the family activities and learn how to best present them to their family groups. There are no new travel costs since Tom is already there and the extra speaker’s fee for an evening presentation is only an additional $350.

To help estimate your travel costs, Tom flies out of Cedar City and connects to Salt Lake City.  He can connect to almost anywhere from Salt Lake.  He will probably need two nights hotel stay since the flights in and out of Cedar City are limited.  One way to save on travel costs is to check with Janet (1-888-588-7078) to see if you can share travel expenses with another organization that is using Tom around the same dates as you would like him in the same part of the country as you.  This way you can split the airfare.
